Solar-Direct Floating Submersible Pump

Applications:
The M series of pumps were specifically designed to pump from surface water sources such as ponds, dams, canals and streams. Common uses are livestock watering, stream protection, water catchment systems, pond aeration and landscape waterfalls.

Water Supply:
The M3, 10 & 20 solar pumps are designed to operate in a diverse range of water conditions. An inlet screen prohibits foreign material from clogging the pump. Any material that passes through the screen is easily lifted by the centrifugal rotor.

MODEL M-3:

Operational Characteristics: The M series motor is suitable for input voltage up to 17 volts. It operates best on 36 cell p.v. modules. A built-in safety feature is the magnetic coupling between the motor and pump impeller. This coupling eliminates friction and prevents water intrusion to the motor. This device will also disengage if the impeller is obstructed or the input voltage is too high. When the coupling disengages, the motor will operate disconnected from the pump until the problem is corrected.
