Precision - Bar Graph Simplicity!
We call the Link 10, amp hour meter the Ultimate Battery Monitor because there is nothing remotely
competitive that combines the Link 10's power, precision and ease of use. You can display volts, amperes, amp-hours or time remaining and you may also choose between automatic or "smart" sleep modes and scanning. The Link 10 will also log and report kilowatt-hours and historical battery information, (charge/discharge cycles, deepest discharge and average depth of discharge). The Link 10 automatically learns and displays charging efficiency. In fact, the Link 10 is so revolutionary that US patents have been issued covering the software, electronics and even the enclosure.

10 REASONS TO OWN A LINK 10!
- The Link 10 amp hour meter reports to you the actual amp-hours consumed: Amp-hours are how battery capacity capacity is rated. You simply tell the Link 10 your battery's capacity and a sophisticated microprocessor tells you how much of your battery capacity has been used and how much operating time remains.
- You'll get battery state-of-charge at a glance: We've put an accurate "fuel gauge" indicator on the Link 10. This multicolor bar graph even flashes red to warn you it's time to recharge.
- The Link 10 reports Kilowatt-hour consumption: Kilowatt-hours are units of power over time. Kilowatt-hours are what you buy from the electric company. You'll be able to use your Link 10 to evaluate performance of trolling motors, inverter loads, electric vehicles and more!
- Time of Operation Remaining is shown: The Link 10 tells you how long you can operate at the present power consumption rate. It also lets you look at loads over several time intervals: instantaneous, 4 minute, 16 minute, and 32 minute averaging is available. this means that even with loads that cycle on and off, the Link 10 gives you the whole picture.
- The Link 10 is a digital volt meter: This is vital if you ever want to troubleshoot you DC system. You can monitor charging sources and spot dangerous
over-voltage or undercharging conditions which can ruin your batteries!
- It's a Digital Ammeter: The Link 10 reports how much current is being used by various DC devices. You can make intelligent decisions about power consumption.
- Battery History: The Link 10 tracks the number of recharge cycles your battery has experienced, the average depth of discharge, and the greatest depth of discharge. Managing your batteries for long life and high performance has never been easier!
- The Link 10 automatically scans the major functions: Volts, Amps, Amp-hours / kilowatt-hours and Time Remaining. When you've got your hands full, the Link 10 display is hands-free!
- The Link 10 adapts to its environment: Under low light conditions, a photo sensing device on the front panel of the unit dims the display level so you don't "blast your eyes". The display becomes brighter as the ambient light increases. This feature keep the Link 10's power consumption to a minimum.
- Installation is a snap: If you can handle a drill, a screwdriver, and follow clear, step-by-step instructions, you can install the ultimate battery monitor, the Link 10 amp hour meter.

Prescalers: Prescalers are used in any system where the battery voltage will exceed 50 Volts. A prescaler is more than just a voltage dividing resistor. It's a fault protection device and was designed primarily for EV (electric vehicle) and 48V systems. There are two types of prescalers available, depending on the application. When using a
prescaler, you simply wire it per the included instructions and then change the meter's program to correct the display. Piece-of-cake!
RS-232 Data Stream Output: Updated once per second, 9600 8 N 1, comma delimited ASCII text reporting: Time stamp, net
kwhrs, amps, volts, ahrs, Peukert ahrs, Peukert amps, time remaining, bar graph/low
batt. Contact status, batter temp (when optional probe is active). Output text is comma delimited fields, CR/LF delimited records suitable Excel, dBase, Lab Views, etc.
Check out Tim Nolan's web site! He has written a program for the Link 10 or E-Meter with the RS-232 option to make the amount of data output a little more
manageable. Another software program is available for download from Grassroots online.
