The OutBack system panel is an installer's dream come true. Large spacious powder coated breaker boxes for both the AC and DC circuit connections eliminate the need for external disconnects and conduit runs. All components can be mounted to a matching powder coated steel back-plane for simple installation at the job site. And, the ETL listed components can make passing the final inspection a snap!

The DC Disconnect (PSDC)

OutBack power systems has developed a new solution for all of the DC components of an inverter power system. The PSDC will save you time, money and space by combining the DC disconnects, over-current protection and control devices into an single, easy to install enclosure. The PSDC is designed to be easily modified and expanded as your needs grow or change. 

• ETL listed indoor (NEMA 1) enclosure.
• Powder coated to resist corrosion and maintain an attractive appearance.
• Mounting space for up to four large (1.5”) 175 or 250 amp or six medium(1.0”) 60 to 100 amp breakers (sizes can be mixed) and 10 spaces for small(0.75”)1, 10, 15, 30, 40 or 60 amp breakers.
• The OutBack PV ground fault interrupter (GFI) mounts in the PSDC using 3 of the small(0.75") circuit breaker spaces.
• 500 amp 50 mV current shunt for a Trimetric, Link10 or TM500 is standard.
• Battery negative/ground bus bar is standard.
• Battery positive bus bar for DC loads and PV arrays is included standard
• Designed to mount directly to the DC end of 1 or 2 Trace DR or SW series inverters without needing any additional conduit boxes or fittings.
• Easily adapted to other inverter models and enclosures via conduit, raceway or adapter plates.
• Knockouts on top for two RVPP Solar Boost or three Xantrex C-series or 3 OutBack MX60 controllers. Two OutBack MX60s MPPT PV controllers or Xantrex C-series controllar can side-mount with the addition of a charge controller bracket.
• Available with or without the circuit breakers and other options pre-installed.

• Dual snap-in DIN rail type mounting brackets for up to sixteen AC circuit breakers – 15, 20, 25, 30 or 60 amps.
• Available with a 30 or 60 amp 120 VAC or 120/240 VAC I-O/bypass breakers with interlock safety switch to allow AC loads to be powered from the utility or generator even if the inverter is removed from the system for servicing or repair.
• Ground terminal bus bar is standard.
• Isolated neutral terminal bus bar is included standard.
• Hot terminal bus bar for connecting additional AC load circuits is standard.
• Designed to mount directly to the AC end of 1 or 2 Trace DR or SW series inverters without needing any additional conduit boxes or fittings.
• Easily adapted to other inverter models and enclosures via conduit, raceway, or adapter plates.
• Internal mounting to accommodate two X240 step-up/step-down auto transformers and cooling fans.
• Plenty of room for additional current sensors and control relays for advanced system designs.
• Available with or without the circuit breakers and other options pre-installed.

Power System Rack (PSR)

OutBack Power Systems introduces a new idea - a combined battery cabinet and system component rack that is changing how renewable energy systems are installed. The PSR saves time, money and space by combining the batteries, disconnects, over-current protection devices and even the inverter/charger into a single enclosure. The PSR is shipped knocked down for ease of shipment, storage and installation. The PSR is also available frame only (PSR-FO) or insulated rainproof outdoor version (PSR-3R). 

• ETL listed indoor powder coated steel enclosure with internal support frame , shelves and removable side/top panels (PSR version).
• Holds eight non-sealed T105s or four non-sealed L16s with space to check and add water without removing the top of the PSR or holds twelve sealed Gp31/T105s (using one additional shelf kit) or four sealed 8Ds with two additional shelf kits.
• Shipped knocked down for easy shipping and storage – electric screwdriver bit tool included
• All sides and top can be removed with conduit attached on the PSR and PSR-3R versions.
• Includes DC breaker bracket which holds up to five small breakers and one large breaker.
• Easily connected to various power inverters or the OutBack PSDC via 2” conduit.
• Available with or without the circuit breakers included – easily added option in the field.
• PSRs can be directly mated end to end for large storage battery systems.
